I've always been a loyal PC user. In college, I passed by the giant Mac lab in favor of the tiny PC lab in the back. In business school, Mac wasn't even an option - we all used PCs. Then, after my internship at Microsoft, I thought I would be a PC user for life.
Then, something happened. When I purchased a new computer with Vista, I felt that my PC was just very SLOW. Downloading emails took forever. Typing in Word became a chore - I was often a sentence or two ahead of the application. The infamous PC/Mac commercials started to feel a little too accurate.
Getting an iPhone was the final step. It's so intuitive, so perfect, that I wondered - would a Mac be this easy and user friendly? The slower my PC got, the more obsessed I became with switching. Finally, this past weekend, I bought a new MacBook.
While I'm still learning, I am finding that the Mac is working so much better for me. Downloading emails takes seconds, rather than the 30-45 minutes it was taking on the PC. I purchased the 1:1 training, so hopefully I'll learn everything quickly~
