Reminiscing about My Young Adulthood

No matter where I turn, it seems there is something from my childhood or young adulthood has returned. While it's fun to introduce (a few) of these things to my own children, it sure does make me feel old!

Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, and Cabbage Patch Kids are back. My daughter and son love watching Strawberry Shortcake and the Care Bears, and her new 25th anniversary Cabbage Patch Kid is almost an exact twin to the one I had many years ago.

90210 is back. They seem to have dropped the Beverly Hills part of the name, which is fine with me because I always called it 90210. After watching the first episode, I'm still not entirely sure what I think of it. It's certainly edgier than the first, but doesn't seem to be as good as the much more modern Gossip Girl. And, no, this I'm not introducing to my preschool aged daugher :)

Finally, New Kids on the Block are back. Chris and I were huge NKOTB fans - our dad worked with Donnie's dad, so we actually got to meet him. Hearing my daughter sing their new song in my car had me doubled-over in laughter. Jones Beach! 1988!
